Another example of cosmetic upper lip shortening, or an upper lip lift, to create more balance and harmony. This is a patient who has more ethnic skin, which normally can take a bit longer to heal. These photos show her ongoing results at about 3 months out from the subnasale lip lift procedure. You can see that her incision line is still a bit red, but should continue to fade away nicely as the months go on. Notice how her upper lip length is much improved. She also has better definition along the pink border of the lip and her philtral ridges are now more pronounced. Overall, she is quite happy with her lip lift results!
